Hoogleraar Governance and International Political Economy aan het International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) in Rotterdam

Prof. Dr. Wil Hout (1961) is hoogleraar Governance and International Political Economy aan het International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) van de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam (EUR). Hij doet onderzoek naar internationale betrekkingen, ontwikkelingssamenwerking en kwesties van ('goed') bestuur. Tevens heeft hij onderzoek gedaan naar de nationale oliemaatschappij van Suriname.

In het verleden was hij docent en universitair hoofddocent aan de EUR, de Universiteit Leiden en de Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen en hij was gastdocent aan de University of Sheffield (VK), John Hopkins University (VS), het Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (Singapore) en de Central University of Iowa (VS). In 2009 deed hij onderzoek bij het Innovative Universities European Union Centre (Australië).
