Filip Reyntjens is Emeritus Professor of Law and Politics at the Institute of Development Policy and Management, University of Antwerp. He has worked for nearly 40 years on the African Great Lakes Region on which he has published hundreds of scholarly articles and several books amongst which “Political Governance in Post-Genocide Rwanda” (Cambridge University Press, 2013).
