Since March 2024, Huub van Gisbergen has been a part of the Clingendael Spectator team as an intern. Huub recently completed a bachelor's degree in Economic History at Leiden University, which he combined with a minor in Global Affairs. He wrote his thesis on the emergence of neoliberalism in Dutch politics and society. Currently he is preparing for a masters degree in International Relations. Besides his academic experience, Huub has conducted independent research on youth participation in European politics as a board member of the Lieve Mark foundation.
