Misha Popovikj is the Center of Good Governance program coordinator at the Institute for Democracy 'Societas Civilis' in Skopje, North Macedonia. He works on studying the practice of corruption, clientelism and patronage in Macedonian politics. His recent work revolves around bad governance resulting from patronage appointments in the civil service and public enterprises. He is a board member of the Platform of CSOs against corruption.
He obtained an MA in Identity, Culture and Power from the UCL's School of Slavonic and East European Studies and a BA in Political Science from the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje.
