Kimberley Kruijver

Research Assistant at the Clingendael Institute

Kimberley Kruijver is Research Assistant at Clingendael’s Security Research Unit. Her work mainly revolves around EU security and defence, including the Common Security and Defence Policy and EU´s latest cooperation initiatives. She also focuses on strategic foresight, such as the Clingendael Strategic Monitor.

Kimberley holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology and an MSc in Crisis and Security Management from Leiden University. She studied extracurricular courses in South-Africa and did an internship at the Security Policy Department at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Currently, she is finishing her MA in Military Strategic Studies from the Netherlands Defence Academy.
