Frans Kamsteeg

Associate professor at the VU University Amsterdam

Frans Kamsteeg is associate professor of Organization Studies at the VU University Amsterdam. He holds a BA in History, and a PhD in Social Sciences. He teaches qualitative research methods, and organizational culture theory. His most recent research focuses on culture and identity aspects of institutional merging in South African Higher Education. He extensively wrote on religious change and Pentecostalism in Latin America, and identity work in Dutch civil society organizations.
