Member of the European Parliament (MEP) in The Greens–European Free Alliance and the European Green Party
On behalf of the Greens/EFA group in the European Parliament, Judith Sargentini is coordinator in the committee for Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE). In her work as member of the committee for Development (DEVE), she works on stopping the trade in conflict minerals and stimulating fair trade. In the committee for Human Rights (DROI) she looks into third countries' compliance with human rights standards. Judith Sargentini is also a member of the delegation that maintains relations with South-Africa and of the delegation of parliamentarians with relations to ACP-countries and the Pan-African Parliament.
