Justinas Stankus is a lawyer and PhD candidate with Ghent University, Conflict Research Group. Currently he is a visiting Fulbright fellow at Cornell University, USA. His focus of research is on transition and peace process in Myanmar, with specific focus on Armed Ethnic Organisations. As a lawyer he had worked for a multinational development bank and corporate law firms.
