Katarína Gališinová graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague as a documentary photographer. Currently, she studies at Leiden University where she is finishing her Master in Media Studies: Film and Photographic Studies. Katarína was an intern at Movies that Matter at the Programme department. During the Movies that Matter Festival 2019, she gave several introductions to the documentary film When the War Comes and participated in the Q & A afterwards. Katarína was born and raised in Slovakia and lives the Netherlands.
