Jutta Joachim is senior lecturer of international relations at Radboud University. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her M.A. in International Studies from the University of South Carolina. She is author of Private Security and Identity Politics: Ethical Hero Warriors, Professional Managers and New Humanitarians (Routledge Press, 2019), Agenda Setting, the UN, and NGOs: Gender Violence and Reproductive Rights (Georgetown University Press, 2007) and co-editor of International Organizations and Implementation: Enforcers, Managers, Authorities (Routledge Press, 2008) and Transnational Activism in the UN and the EU: A Comparative Study (Routledge Press, 2009).
