David Criekemans

Professor of International Relations at the University of Antwerp, International Politics and Security at the University College Roosevelt

Prof. Dr. David Criekemans is a Belgian part-time Assistant Professor in International Relations at University College Roosevelt. He teaches Theories of International Relations and Security in the Post-Cold War Era.

Dr. Criekemans is also an Assistant Professor in International Politics at the University of Antwerp (Belgium), and a Lecturer in Geopolitics at the Geneva Institute of Geopolitical Studies (GIGS) (Switzerland). He is often asked as guest lecturer at universities in Belgium and abroad. Formerly, he also taught at the Royal Military Academy in Brussels (2007-2011), at the Catholic University of Brussels (2006-2007), and at Jacobs University Bremen in Germany (December 2011-January 2012).
